2021 Annual cultural fiesta of St. Basil the great Parish Awo-Omamma. Awo-Omamma is one of the villages in Oru-East Local Government Area, Imo State, Nigeria. It’s also under the Catholic diocese of Orlu, Imo State, in the Orlu Diocese St. Basil is under St. Theresa’s Pastoral region Uli Anambra State. Awo-Omamma has thirteen villages and as a town has six parishes which includes St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Isieke (the mother parish), Christ the King Parish Okwuoji second Parish followed by St. Basil the great Parish Awo-Omamma which is the third and others like St. Mary’s parish Ubogwu, St. John Ubachima and St. Anthony Umuezukwe respectively.
